Mythical Mythos

OK so I just realized that I never posted the details of my sweater finishing frenzy over the summer...so I'll start withMythos.

 First I love this sweater! It's fits great and was a very fun knit.  I didn't want to spend the big bucks on the called for yarn (though I'm sure it's lovely yarn) and I had a blue color I wanted in mind..so I ordered up somebare silk and merino from Knit Picks and then dyed it.

The color came out a bit brighter than I had originally planned but I LOVE it! I get compliments every time I wear it. People never believe me when I tell them that I not only knit the sweater but dyed the yarn myself as well.

If you want more details check it out over here on Ravelry. I am still contemplating knitting this again in a grey color to have a neutral throw over anything sweater. I am still planning on getting myself a nifty shawl pin for when I want to wear it closed.
