Really I've meant to blog and post and show you the knitting goodness around here, even talk a bit about my hair and the whole new "Curly Girl" routine. But I haven't don't kwow why.
I've been knitting-quite a bit. I've knit Liesl. she is drying and waiting for me to sew on her buttons. So hopefully I'll have a FO post on that here in the next couple days. I've also been working on a couple pairs of socks, spring forward being the fun one!
I'm ALMOST done with Ingenue Too (2) Just one more sleeve left. I want to call it the yarn eating sweater as I have had to buy more yarn for it twice. I just hope it doesn't stretch out to 5 times it's size when I block it! Finishing that sweater is my goat for this week. I'm sure I won't be able to wear it to Fall at this point as it is wool. but that's OK I love the color and the yarn for it.
I also have my Cardi I steeked still sitting around needing a sleeve and the hood yet.
I'm going to TRY to make myself finish up these two before starting another sweater. BUT the lighter weight yarns, and summery patterns are calling to me. I've told myself NO MORE tanks! Flow is the only one I ever wear. The are just warm in the summer. I am going to try to keep myself working on more lighter weight spring and fall type wear. So I'm not sweating while knitting but am not just making some stuff that I will never wear. So in my Queue for Summer (18 days of school till summer vacation!! But who's counting)The Indigo Ripples skirt, I have yarn from Elann for that.
I also want to make Sandrine from chic knits, I have some berocco Mica for that. I also have cotton fleece for the Basic Chic Pulli
Then I saw today the buttercup tee on Ravelryso cute. I could even see it with 3/4 length sleeves. Yarn, well I have cotton fleece I could use, but I'm also itching to try the Knit Picks City Tweed I love the enchanted and Poseidon colors. Then some are using the Elann Nilo which would be great for warmer weather wear.
Then a friend of mine from a local LYS designed this adorableMiley Tee which is done in Berroco Seduce would be fun for summer as well.
OH Man I don't think I will get it all done! Then I've even got some thoughts for fall as well. I want to make a couple Knit and Tonic patterns: Fair Enough, and the Favorite Cardigan. OH I want to make Slinky Ribs too..that could be a summery pattern too...
AHH too much in my brain!!!! I must stop but I can't, I have such a ridiculous queue and soooo much yarn!!! MADNESS I tell you!
You need to put your "Curly Girl" pic over here too! The one in your Ravater! And if Ingenue stretches, I will be there with the chocolate and martinis. . .we can either drown your sorrows or grow you into it!
