So I should be on a yarn diet but, that isn't' working out so go for me! LOL!
First our Cleveland knits West group took a field trip to Miss Chickpeas Funky fibers for their Superbowl sale. It is such a cute little shop! I was only looking for some pagewood farms sock yarn, and I got 2 skeins of that as well as some other goodies like some Arucania Ranco sock yarn, and some Classic Elite Waterlily for a sweater (I'm thinking another Ingenue from Custom knits)
Then I was in Columbus for 3 days for a conference for work and well I can't be in Columbus and not got to Knitters Mercantile! It is one of my favorite shops! I love it there. It's probably good that it's not closer! I'd have NO money ever!! My goal there was to go to get some Tuscan Grove sock yarn..so I got that as well as a skein of Misti Alpaca sock yarn in colors I couldn't pass up. Then I spotted some Queensland Rustic Wool (which is super-wash yay) in a lovely burgundy that I bought 11 skeins of for some random sweater.
(I loved the purple but they only had 3 skeins left so wouldn't you know I found some on Ravelry for sale and bought that too
) Plus I found some buttons for my Feb lady sweater (but I found a huge mistake in that last night and now I have to rip out almost the whole thing so that's a VERY sore topic right now!)
Then I decided to check out a new shop in Columbus called WonderKnit. It's a really cute little shop. The owner it trying to carry yarns you can't find elsewhere in Columbus. She had some very lovely yarns I hadn't seen anywhere else..so there I picked up a skein of Farmhouse yarns in a cool variegated colors that will become a cowl of some sort and 2 skeins of Art yarns Supermerino4 for a pair of socks.
So here's the gratutious photo of the dogs:
They are so helpful with my kniting aren't they? OK off to enjoy the rest of my day off!!
